Cops Helping Kids

WPOA Annual Golf Tournament

SEE YOU IN 2021!

The Whittier Police Officers' Association is a non-profit organization made up of sworn personnel in Whittier and Santa Fe Springs. Founded in 1970, the WPOA is dedicated to support the officers of the Whittier Police Department and the communities they serve, with a special focus on the youth population.

Funds raised through the annual golf tournament are used to support the department's "Cops Helping Kids" Program. ln an effort to combat the increase in youth crime, the program's primary aim s to provide the young people of our communities with positive, constructive and educational ways to use their leisure time. Each year, the WPOA donates to several youth-serving organizations with curriculums and activities that meet and support the objective of reducing this growing trend.
