Welcome to the Official WPOA Web Site
On behalf of the men and women of the Whittier Police Officers’ Association, we thank you for visiting our website. We hope you’ll find our site enjoyable, informative and that you’ll visit frequently. Here you’ll find links to related sites which might be of interest and you can also find out what we do for our community. We would like the website to serve as a tool to facilitate an effective means of communication between our valued members and the communities we serve.
The Whittier Police Officers Association (WPOA) was organized and exists under the rules and regulations of its by-laws, the laws of the City of Whittier and the State of California. The Association’s membership includes sworn personnel in Whittier and Santa Fe Springs and it includes Officers, Corporals, and Sergeants. Its objective is to promote a closer bond of fraternity for mutual protection; to encourage and improve professionalization; to promote further efficiency within the ranks of the department; to maintain and improve the working conditions; to ensure retirement benefits and job tenure of the members of the department.
